Double-Boiled Ginseng Roots and Chicken Soup 参须炖鸡汤

Ingredients :

1 Kampung Chicken, cleaned, removed and cut into 4 pieces

50g Shen Xiu / Ginseng Roots (12g)

10 Red Dates, removed seeds (8)

1tbsp Qi Zi

1500ml Water (1000ml)

Salt to taste


Method :

1. Blanch chicken in boiling water for a short while. Remove and clean.

2. Put all ingredients into a double-boiler and double-boil at high heat for 4 hours. Add salt to taste. Serve hot.
